How Live Wedding Painting Works

I blend the excitement of live performance art with the refined finish of a studio masterpiece. Here’s what to expect when you book me for your big day:

• Early Arrival & Setup: I arrive one hour before the event begins to set up my easel and start painting the backdrop. (This hour is complimentary and doesn't count toward your package time).

• Live Entertainment: For the duration of your 3 or 5-hour package, I paint live during your ceremony or reception. Guests love watching the oil painting come to life!

• Studio Finishing Touches: Because a true masterpiece takes time, I take the canvas back to my studio after your wedding. There, I refine the details, allow the oil paint to properly dry, and apply a professional varnish.

• Ready to Hang: Every canvas has its edges fully finished, meaning it looks beautiful on your wall with or without a frame. (Custom framing is also available upon request).

Custom Wedding Art Packages

Every wedding is unique, and your artwork should be too. I offer customizable packages designed to fit your vision for the day. Your final investment is simply a combination of two things:

• Your Live Event Package
  Choose between a 3-hour or 5-hour live painting performance to entertain your guests during the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception.

• Your Canvas Size
  Select the perfect size for your home. I offer a variety of standard sizes ranging from intimate 12x12 canvases to grand 18x24 statement pieces, with larger custom canvases available upon request.

Want a keepsake of your historic venue to display next to your reception or ceremony painting? I can create an additional "Venue Portrait" on the day of the event to capture the architecture and charm of your location.

Wedding Bouquet Preservation (Fine Art Style!)

Put down the resin and walk away! Don’t encase your beautiful wedding flowers in a heavy resin block you won’t know what to do with. Instead, I will take your bouquet safely home to my studio and immortalize your florals in a classic, studio-rendered oil still life.

Travel and Destination Weddings

I love to travel! If your wedding is taking place outside of the New Orleans area, I am happy to travel to your destination for a standard travel and lodging stipend. Flexible payment plans are also available for all packages!
